What is hearing aid?

A hearing aid is an electronic device that is battery operated which and also amplifies as well as changes sound to allow for improved communication. ITE hearing aids fit completely in the outer ear and are used for mild to severe hearing loss but however this case holds the components that is made of plastic. This hearing aid is not usually worn by children because the casings need to be replaced as the ear grows and also it can be damaged by earwax and ear drainage as well as their small size can cause adjustment problems and feedback.
ITC is customized to fit the size and shape of the ear canal and is used for mild to moderately severe hearing loss. While CIC hearing aid is largely concealed in the ear canal and canal aids may be difficult for the user to adjust and remove or even may not be able to hold additional devices only due to their small size.

Before you buying hearing aid you should ask your audiologist important questions such as are there any medical or surgical considerations for your hearing loss, which design is best for your hearing loss, what is the total cost of the hearing aid, is there a trial period to test the hearing aids and what are the fees for it, how long is the warranty and can it be extended?
